Reverse advent calendars work by you filling them every day with items that can then be taken to a food bank or charity.
The woman who developed this calendar worked with quite a few food banks over the years, and built a calendar based not on exotic items with short expiry dates - but rather, sensible high protein items that will help their clients get some quality food into their diet.
Charities and food banks need our help and support all year round - though this time of year can be especially difficult.
This year we can all do a little bit more giving to others who have less than we have.
