Why is everyone drinking chlorophyll water?

What is chlorophyll? It is a green pigment found in plants, which is packed with a range of powerful nutrients. It is a good source of vitamins such as vitamin A, C, E, K, and beta-carotene. It is rich in antioxidants, vital minerals such as magnesium, iron, potassium, calcium, and essential fatty acids.

What does it do?

It helps in normal blood clotting, wound healing, maintaining hormonal balance, deodorizing, detoxifying of the body, and promoting digestive health. Some more specifics on liquid chlorophyll:

  • It has the ability to bind and remove toxic heavy metals like mercury from your body.

  • It aids your body in destroying and removing germs and helps to prevent the growth of new germs.

  • It is a good and effective source of magnesium that can alkalinize your body.

  • It is an antioxidant, preventing harmful oxidation in the body.

  • Because of the nutrients in chlorophyll, it helps oxygenate and cleanse your blood.

  • There are many toxins and carcinogens in our environment and food. Chlorophyll can help fight free radicals in the body and actually blocks the body’s absorption of carcinogens.

True that any time you’re eating a green veggie, you’re getting a little hit of chlorophyll without even trying. But unless you’re eating massive amounts of raw greens at every meal (and keep in mind that levels of chlorophyll can decrease or even disappear after cooking veggies!), you’re likely not getting the same concentration of chlorophyll as you could in its supplemental form.

How to take it:

I put 1 tablespoon into my bottle of water at work/home and drink it all day! There are many kinds to buy - I am taking one by Land Art, as per my Naturopath’s recommendation.
